Las Vegas Premier Invitational Champions

What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas may not be totally accurate. The 95 Ladybugs White brought the Championship trophy back to Arizona. The girls defeat Players SC Blue 1-0 Sunday on a corner kick from Kayla to Emily in the 3rd minute of the second half. The team played solid defense the remainder of the half to secure the win.
The Ladybugs started the tournament with a 0-0 tie against Boise Capital 94-95 Premier Red (ID) and a 2-1 victory over ASC Express G94 Black (CAS). Kelly headed in a goal in the 11th minute on a corner from Kayla and Dakota headed in the game winner on a long pass from Stephanie in the 44th minute. The girls finish pool played with with a 0-0 tie against La Roca FC Premier - RP (UT) and the two teams went to penalty kicks. Kate saved 2 shots and McKenna hit the game winner (5-4) to send the Ladybugs to the finals.
