Ladybugs Soccer Program!

The 95 Ladybugs team is one of the premiere girls’ soccer teams in the state of Arizona. Over the past two years the Ladybugs have finished second in the state league standings and had a semifinal appearance in the Arizona State Cup. Last season the girls won the Mesa Patriots Cup (AZ), Four Corners Cup (Tucson) and reached the semifinals of the Nomads Tournament in San Diego. The Bugs have wins over state champions from New Mexico (Rio Vista Hornets), Utah (Avalanche) and Arizona (Sereno) as well as a victory over La Roca (Utah) and tournament host Nomads (California). Ladybugs soccer also participated in the prestigious Blues Cup and Cerritos Tournament in California.

What separates Ladybug soccer from many of the current programs in the state of Arizona is the style of play coached by 6-time state champion coach Manoel Coelho who has sent 22 players on to Division I colleges and the commitment of the girls to the program. Of the 15 players on the roster this season only one is new to the program. Nine of the girls have been with the team since its inception to club soccer in 2002.
